Day One:

To get your day off to a fresh start, stroll down the street of historic Old Town Manassas.  Known as the Great American Main Street, Old Town Manassas is the perfect place to cure your specialty shopping desires.  With the likes of Opera House Gourmet, an eclectic shop that houses fine wines, gourmet coffee, tea, chocolates, and food. Or the Creative Brush Studio, a sure treat for art lovers of all types, carrying the most wonderful pieces from local artists.  When you’re finally ready to move along, head over to the Victorian Tea Room for lunch just minutes away. After lunch check into your hotel for a moment to freshen up before afternoon activities.

Continue your voyage of relaxation with a visit to Prince William County’s premier Winery at La Grange.  This winery can be found amongst the majestic setting of the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the quaint town of Haymarket.  With over 20 acres of spacious beauty and a 12 acre vineyard it’s easy to see why this is a must do to kick off your girl’s getaway.  Take a tour of the stately La Grange Manor house, built in the 1790’s that’s very rich in history and architectural beauty.  Step outside into the world of breathtaking scenery and take any one of the wine tasting tours which includes tasting their Vidal Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay, Meritage, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Norton, Claret, Pinot Grigio and a Brut Reserve sparkling.

When evening falls head over to Foundation restaurant, just minutes away in Manassas for an innovative international cuisine. Head back to the hotel for a full night’s rest or spend the evening catching up or sharing old memories.


Day Two:

Enjoy breakfast at the Prince William County dining establishment of your choice. Now that you’ve energized yourself with nourishment get ready for a day of shopping galore!!! Drive into the historic riverfront town of Occoquan.  This 300 year old town is home of the big annual Arts and Crafts Festival, with hundreds of vendors and thousands of attendees, this town is great for art and shopping lovers.  With over 100 quaint shops, restaurants, and art galleries combined, this part of your getaway is a shopper’s paradise.  Explore the shops for neat hidden treasures.  When you’re ready for a break, stop in for lunch at one of their riverfront restaurants.  Dine on the patio to take in great views while feasting on the likes of crab cakes or a fresh salad. 

When you’re rested up travel just a few minutes to the number one shopping destination in Virginia, Potomac Mills Mall.  This mall has over 300,000 square feet of shopping space with more than 25 eateries. A completely enclosed shopping attraction, Potomac Mills offers wonderful discounts at more than 225 brand name and manufacturer’s retail outlet stores. Anchor stores such as Nordstrom Rack, Off 5th-Saks Fifth Avenue, Burlington Coat Factory, G Street Fabrics, joined with smaller outlet stores such as United Colors of Benetton, Ann Taylor, Liz Clairborne and Banana Republic offers a wide selection for any shopping desire.  Before heading to dinner, retreat to your hotel for a moment to freshen up before embarking out for evening entertainment.  For dinner and a show that you and your friends will be sure to enjoy stop by the Lazy Susan Dinner Theatre. This distinguished dinner theatre presents an outstanding Pennsylvania-Dutch style buffet, followed by a full-scale Broadway production that is extraordinary. Performances change throughout the year, but the quality of show remains the same.  When you and your girls have had enough of food, fun, and good times return to your hotel for a good night’s rest before your departure home in the morning.
