Eligibility Criteria:
United States team: The top 10 PGA Tour money winners from the start of the 2004 PGA Tour through the end of the 2005 PGA Tour, plus two “captain's choices,” for a total of 12 players.

International Team: The top 10 international players (excluding those eligible for the European Ryder Cup team) from the Official World Golf Ranking through tournaments scheduled to conclude in 2005, plus two captain's choices, for a total of 12.

Purse: Unlike other golf tournaments, players do not receive prize money based on performance. Net proceeds are divided equally among the players to donate to their favorite charities through PGA Tour Charities, Inc.
