Discriminating hunters don’t have to venture far to engage in the time-honored tradition of bird hunting in natural cover. Joe’s Game Bird Hunting Preserve in Nokesville provides experienced guides and dogs, as well as sporty shooting conditions. Pheasants, quail and chukkar partridge linger in natural, heavy cover providing a challenging experience for even the most experienced hunters and dogs. Deer, squirrel, rabbit, quail, turkey and dove may be harvested on Quantico marine Corps Base by the general public on a limited basis. Waterfowl hunting is allowed from licensed blinds and in managed open hunting areas.

Discriminating sportsmen will find challenging hunting in 242 acres of natural cover adjoining Cedar Run Creek here. Two ponds and cultivated feed plots for birdlife, experienced guides and dogs, and warm hospitality keep visitors coming back. Deer, turkey and limited dove hunting available in season. Limited guide dog training. Advance reservations required.
