“Bass Edge” Television Show Crew Begins Filming in Prince William County, Virginia

Prince William County, Virginia – A crew from the Bass Edge television show is filming this week in the Potomac River off Leesylvania State Park.

Pro-anglers Aaron Martin and Kurt Dove arrived over the weekend with two boats and a crew of photographers and producers to film the episode, featuring bass fishing tips and techniques.  They found an appealing mix of beautiful scenery, bright skies, low humidity, cool temperatures and calm water.  Dove, named a 2007 Bassmaster Elite Series Pro, grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia near Leesylvania State Park.  He worked with Bass Edge on another episode last year, and invited the show to his home turf  this year. “We have a great opportunity to feature the Potomac, especially with the style of fishing we do on the river in the summer!” Dove explained.

The Bass Edge crew also is working with the Prince William County/Manassas, Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau (www.visitpwc.com) to highlight the destination’s other premier attractions, including Manassas National Battlefield Park, Historic Manassas and a Potomac Nationals baseball game and fireworks on the Fourth of July.

Bass Edge’s instruction is backed by the latest 2-D and 3-D animation techniques, taking viewers over the terrain and under the water to highlight important instructional elements.  A portion of this episode also will be featured in “The Edge,” a weekly podcast availabe on the Bass Edge website (www.bassedge.com), focusing on tips, techniques and inside product knowledge.
