The Prince William County/Manassas, Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) (www.visitpwc.com) is a destination marketing organization, promoting the region to potential leisure visitors, tour groups, business travelers, conventions, sports groups and media representatives for the purpose of increasing tourism, visitor spending and furthering economic growth. The CVB is an independent, not-for-profit organization.
“The CVB serves as a clearinghouse for accurate and up-to-date information on area attractions, events and other tourism resources for visitors from around the world,” says Tabatha Mullins, executive director of the CVB.

Staff members are committed to making trip-planning, stress-free with the most accurate and up-to-date information and special travel offers. The CVB coordinates a Visitors Guide, Calendar of Events, Golf Guide and Area Map with dining and lodging listings. Staff members also tend to convention needs from on-site registration at the event, to welcoming attendees, to the latest information on lodging and dining. The CVB also offers group tour services, securing everything from transportation to event and attraction tickets.
The CVB publicizes upcoming events in a bi-monthly industry newsletter, press releases and on its website, www.visitpwc.com. The CVB’s Marketing and Communications and Visitor Services and Development departments meet regularly with tourism industry and attraction representatives, and local business, restaurant and hotel owners. They promote Prince William County and Manassas, Virginia to the region, country and the world through print, audio, video, film and web initiatives.
