"The Prince William Half Marathon is expected to bring in 2,000 runners from at least 15 states," according to event organizer Rob Dulin, President of Fun Run Racing, LLC. The race offers out of town participants a glimpse of what Prince William, VA has to offer.

Lace up your running shoes for the Novant Health UVA Health System Prince William Half Marathon & 5K on Sunday, September 30, 2018. The race kicks off at 7:00 am from Jiffy Lube Live, winds through scenic Manassas National Battlefield Park and returns to Jiffy Lube Live for a post-race celebration. 

 

#1  Easy Access & Affordable Accommodations

Runners can experience a DC area race without the Washington DC traffic. Jiffy Lube Live is easily accessible via major thoroughfares and has ample free parking (and REAL BATHROOMS!).  Participants needing a place to stay nearby before and after the race will find a wide variety of affordable options to choose from (with over 4,000 hotel rooms alone in Prince William, Virginia!).

Prince William Half Marathon offers runners a unique racing experience. Traveling along paved roads, runners will make their way along gently rolling hills providing panoramic views of Manassas National Battlefield Park.

“My hope is that hometown and out of town race participants will make a weekend celebration of it. Our community has a wide variety of entertainment and dining choices. You can go from a living history exhibit to a concert supporting Wounded Warriors, from the Steins, Vines and Moonshine Trail to a charity soccer match. In between, visit a couple of the great restaurants located close to all of these events,” says Brentsville District Supervisor, Jeanine Lawson.
