🎡 What is the history of the Prince William County Fair? 

 

The fair was started in 1949 by a group of young World War II veterans that wanted to promote agriculture within the county. The fair has grown to bring in over 90,000 fair-goers each year - making it the largest County Fair in the state of Virginia.

 

With the impending sale of the 85-acre fairgrounds, this year's fair could be the last. Make your plans now to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Prince William County Fair, experience all this historic fair has to offer and pay homage to this beloved fair's history.

"There is an Aquatics Acrobatic Show in the Kids Zone that is new for this year. We are looking forward everyone checking it out," states Diane Burke, Director of Business Operations for the Prince William County Fair. 

 

🎡What is a "Don't-Miss" event at the Prince William County Fair?

 

"The Children's Power Wheels Derby is my favorite thing to watch because you never know what kind of reactions you'll receive. Kids do & say the darndest things" shares Burke.
