August is Craft Beer Month in Virginia... and we're here to toast all the amazing breweries in DC's Countryside.


Prince William, VA and the City of Manassas are home to twenty craft breweries, wineries, distilleries & tasting rooms. For the beer lovers out there, this month we are showcasing just a few of the unique Virginia craft breweries you can find along our Steins, Vines and Moonshine Trail.

1) ​2 Silos Brewing Co. at Farm Brew Live

2 Silos Brewing Co. at Farm Brew Live - 2 Silos Brewing Co. is located on the 8-acre Farm Brew LIVE campus at Innovation Park in Manassas, Va. 2 Silos is committed to promoting the craft beer culture by making their beer selections the finest in the Northern Virginia region. 2 Silos Brewing Co. brings family and friends together to enjoy craft beer, tasty cuisines and live local music. A double-decker ice cream truck has been added to the brewery campus offering kids a sweet treat and boozy libations for the grownups. During the winter months, create a unique and memorable group experience by reserving your very own igloo.


2. Brew Republic Bierwerks

Brew Republic Bierwerks bar full of peopleBrew Republic Bierwerks –  Located off I-95 at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge, VA, Brew Republic Bierwerks features 12 taps that pour no fewer than 6 different styles at a time. All of their beers are meticulously designed by their brewmaster and crafted by their brewing team to echo local, regional and national craft beer trends while appealing to the specific tastes of craft beer lovers and casual beer drinkers alike. In addition to craft beer and great food, Brew Republic offers events that include live music, trivia, bingo, and other fun ways to enjoy your time. They also offer complimentary tours of their brewery on Saturday afternoons, or upon special request. If you happen to stop in during the winter months be sure to try their Beer-nog made with homemade eggnog and their delicious seasonal oatmeal stout.


3) Cedar Run Brewery

Cedar Run Brewery –  Newly opened in Nokesville, VA, Cedar Run Brewery is a true farm brewery with a simple mission - to make great beer.  Visit their taproom, enjoy the scenic views from their patio, or wander around the farm while sipping on one of their eight brews on tap. Visitors can enjoy the farm's Pumpkin Patch in the fall or cut down their own Christmas Tree in winter. Cedar Run Brewery provides a quiet and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of Northern Virginia.


4) Eavesdrop Brewing

Eavesdrop Brewery - At Eavesdrop Brewery, their craft is celebrated by embracing collaboration. Their goal is to provide a unique experience through partnerships with local chefs, farms and brewers from across the nation. These partnerships allow Eavesdrop to bring food, farm, and beer together in one location that’s easy to get to, but hard to leave. The brewery and tasting room are located on Route 28, in Yorkshire, VA. It’s here that they brew, barrel-age, and sell their beer. Eavesdrop is also home to one of the largest urban hop gardens in the Mid-Atlantic. Along with hops they grow apple trees, berry bushes, and other ingredients, all of which are used in their beer and food projects. Events happen frequently and range from beer dinners to concerts and everything in between. Their tasting room is housed in a former racing pigeon loft, featuring a spacious interior that seamlessly blends farmhouse feel with a contemporary influence, as well as a bar on the rooftop for enjoying views of the gardens below.


5) The Farm Brewery at Broad Run

The Farm Brewery at Broad Run fans celebrating sporting eventThe Farm Brewery at Broad Run - Situated on a picturesque 52-acre farm in Haymarket, VA, The Farm Brewery at Broad Run is a 15-barrel brewhouse producing an assortment of tasty beer styles that change with the seasons and crop rotations. There are 10 beers on tap including cider. This family and pet-friendly brewery has a variety of activities and events to enjoy throughout the year.



6) Tin Cannon Brewing Company

A flight of beerTin Cannon Brewing Company - Tin Cannon Brewing Company is a Nano-brewery located in Gainesville, VA. They create their craft brews onsite with their 2 barrel system.  They typically have 7 - 10 beers on tap and offer sampler flights, half pints, pints and growlers. They do not serve food but generally host food trucks & specialty food providers within the taproom Thursdays through Saturdays.  Tin Cannon also brews and serves their own non-alcoholic root beer on draft (and yes, root beer floats are available). Guests are welcome to bring their own meals in or order from our neighboring business. They host live entertainment/performances weekly and provide Open Mics for all local musicians. With the nice weather, visitors are invited to relax and enjoys an ice-cold brew on their outdoor patio.  


7. Water's End Brewery

Water’s End Brewery – The team at this micro-brewery is truly bringing craft brewing closer to people by building a brewery and taproom experience in a local shopping center. All of their beer is made in-house and sold only in their taproom. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast who wants to discuss the latest industry trends, beer recipes, and local Virginia ingredients, or someone who just wants a beer, you are invited to visit our "neighborhood taproom"... Water's End Brewery.
