19th Century Womanhood at the Haislip-Hall House

11 a.m. – 3p.m; $5 per person, free for children under six

Join us at the Historic Haislip-Hall House for a day of living history to learn about what life was like for women in the 19th century. Learn about many aspects of the home that women oversaw from the daily household chores, education, medicine, and more. Participate in cooking demonstrations, sewing, and other household activities that women had to complete daily without the benefits of electricity or running water. Even take a little bit of women’s history home with you!
