Please join the members of the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (PWCAC-DST) at the 30th annual King Day Youth Oratorical Program. The public is welcome to attend this free event. Doors open at 10 a.m. and there will be vendors and information tables in the foyer,
The program honors the legacy and humanitarian efforts of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and celebrates our students’ thinking, writing, and speaking skills – skills needed for a lifetime of meaning and success. Six amazing middle and high school students representing schools from Prince William County, Manassas City, and Manassas Park will amaze and inspire the audience with their oratorical skills. With the guidestar of “Let Freedom Ring” as the theme, the 30th year is sure to be to one the best.
The program will also showcase the MLK Community Choir. Oratorical program guests are encouraged to participate in chapter’s MLK Day of Service project
by donating non-perishable food items and new/slightly used winter wear for
distribution through PW community non-profit organizations such as Good News Kitchen, The Prince William Community Foundation and Streetlight Outreach Ministries.
