Fee-Free Day - Prince William Forest Park

Join us for a free-free day as the Department of the Interior and National Park Service celebrate the one year anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act! The Great American Outdoors Act, passed in 2020, proposes to utilize revenues from energy development to provide funding to provide maintenance for facilities and infrastructure in our national parks, forests, wildlife refuges, recreation areas, and American Indian schools.
Visit Prince William Forest Park and enjoy miles of hiking trails, picnic areas, biking, and more! The park will be open from sunrise to sunset. Please note that camping fees are not part of the fee-free program and will still be needed in order to reserve a campsite. All camping reservations must be made through Recreation.gov.
