Before the invention of "modern" medicine, many medicines were made from different plants and herbs ground into pastes, teas, elixirs, and foods. Join us for herbal inspired tea and appetizers as you learn about some of the different herbs used for medicines, what illnesses they treated and how effective they actually were.  Price of admission includes tea, light refreshments and a special presentation at the Civil War hospital. A tour of the hospital is included after the program for all interested.  Reservations are required.
