Hispanic Heritage Month-Family Camping (bilingual program)

Have you always wanted to go camping? Come celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Leesylvania by camping out with friends and familia. Enjoy fun ranger-led programs such as canoeing on Powells Creek, a night hike on a trail, stargazing under the cool summer night, and a warm campfire program with delicious s'mores. If you have your own canoe or kayak, you are more than welcome to bring it.

Please register 24 hours in advance by calling the visitor center at (703)583-6904 or email us at . If you plan on staying the night, all campers must leave by 10:00 am the next morning. Leesylvania is proud partners with Latino's Outdoors, REI, and Northern Virginia Astronomy Club. Event is sponsored by Friends of Leesylvania State Park.
