Coastal Shore Tour

Come prepared for a short walk to learn about the natural history of the shoreline of Leesylvania and the importance of the shoreline restoration project.
Shoreline Clean-up
10:30 am-12:30 pm
Join a ranger to help clean up trash and drift wood around half a mile of shoreline area. Come prepared to get dirty.
Painting Drift Wood
12:45 pm-1:45 pm
After working hard outside we will be painting drift wood pieces found on the shore inside the Visitor Center while enjoying some refreshing lemonade and freshly baked cookies. Join us while supplies last.
