Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War

Take a self-guided tour through the Museum's gallery dedicated to the Vietnam conflict, and learn about Marines who played varied and important roles during this era.

You may have heard of Wesley Fox or John Ripley; however, nearly 500,000 Marines served in Vietnam. Subject matter experts will be stationed at key points in the gallery and will enhance your experience with informational presentations. Spend some time learning the stories of these lesser-known Marine Corps heroes of the Vietnam War.


Commemorate the 75th anniversary of the conclusion of WWII.

Visitors are invited to explore the role of the Marine Corps during World War II and learn more about the men and women who contributed to victory over Japan. As you take a self-guided tour through our World War II gallery, Museum subject matter experts will be stationed at key points to highlight unique Marine Corps stories. You may have heard of the Iwo Jima flag raisers, or USMC Medal of Honor recipients John Basilone or Pappy Boyington; however, nearly 600,000 men and women served in the USMC in World War II. Spend some time learning the stories of these lesser known Marine Corps heroes.
