Mission:
Promote and enhance the value of the Prince William brand to create a compelling reason to visit the destination. Promote visitor friendly businesses both small and large through aggressive and strategic public relations, advertising, social and digital media engagement, visitor experiences, partner outreach and events.

Overview:
Expanding upon the recent merger with Prince William County Government, the Office of Tourism has created a cohesive message to influence consumers, group tour planners, travel trade, media, and visitors in the destination to stay and play in Prince William. This integrated approach enables outreach to primarily domestic markets (and international when applicable) with multi-channel support from business-to-business relationships, media and PR tactics, and consumer marketing.

The Office of Tourism has modernized its image with a new graphics package and is engaging a strategic advertising campaign that builds upon the destinations historic heritage and at the same time reflects the many new offerings available. Our mission is to promote unique experiences with recommendations that support the arts, culture, heritage, sports, shopping and dining, recreation, agriculture and more that visitors have come to love.

We will continue to capitalize on marketing trends that will benefit the destination at large, that will increase the need to visit Prince William, Virginia.
