Turkey Run Ridge Group Campgound

Turkey Run Ridge Group Campground will be closed from October 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024 for infrastructure improvements.

Turkey Run Ridge Group Campground (TRGC) is a wooded camping facility for organized groups of seven or more persons. The campground is open year-round.

Fees & Reservations

Open year-round
Camping fees are charged per night:
$65 - 25 person, per site, per night
$80 - 40 person, per site, per night

Reservations must be made at Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777. A park entrance fee or pass is required for all vehicles in addition to camping fees.

Amenities

Each site has several picnic tables, campfire pits with grills, a parking area, and lantern post. Restrooms feature sinks and flush toilets (no showers). There is one amphitheater with bench seating, which may be reserved at Recreation.gov. Camping is not allowed at the amphitheater.

Amphitheater Use

The amphitheater at TRGC consists of semi-circular bench seating around a fire pit. The amphitheater is reserved through Recreation.gov. A group leader must have a bucket of water available during the campfire. Fires must be contained within the stone pit. Bonfires or enlarging the stone enclosure is not permitted. All fires must be "dead" out when you leave.

• 6 sites accommodate up to 25 people. (Sites A, B, D, G, H, and I)
• 3 sites accommodate up to 40 people. (Sites C, E, and F)

Campers are limited to no more than 14 overnight stays in a calendar year (January through December). Title 36 of the Code of Federal Regulations and Superintendent's Compendium apply to the park. For further information on the campground, please contact the park's visitor center at 703-221-7181.
