There's something brewing in Prince William, Virginia... and apparently, it's award-winning!
Five Prince William County breweries brought home nine medals at the 2026 Virginia Craft Beer Cup, showcasing just how much talent is being poured into glasses throughout the county. The annual competition, hosted by the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild, featured 347 beer entries judged by 36 judges, making these wins something worth raising a glass to.
And with our five local breweries earning recognition, there's never been a better excuse to grab some friends and explore Prince William's craft beer scene. Oh yeah, and theres a trail to make it even easier!
2 Silos Brewing Co.
Starting things off with two medals is 2 Silos Brewing Co. Located on the NOVA LIVE campus in Manassas, 2 Silos is much more than a place to grab a beer or two. This destination brewery combines craft beer with food, live music, outdoor spaces, and events, making it easy to spend an entire afternoon or evening here.
The brewery offers a wide range of beer styles, from lagers and IPAs to stouts and seasonal offerings. If you're looking for the award-winning Hefe or Squared Pants, it's worth checking the current tap list before your visit, as beer availability can change.
The brewery earned:

Eavesdrop Brewery
Over in Manassas' Yorkshire neighborhood, Eavesdrop Brewery earned a gold medal for Unspoken in the Wood Aged category.
Eavesdrop has a pretty unique story of its own. The brewery occupies what was once a racing pigeon loft, and that history continues to influence its branding and atmosphere today. It's a family-friendly destination with indoor and outdoor seating, fire pits, a rooftop patio, and plenty of room to settle in with friends.
Beer lovers will find a rotating selection of craft beers, along with cider, mead, wine, slushies, and non-alcoholic options. And if you're getting hungry, Eavesdrop currently partners with Eugene's Sausage & Fries for on-site food, while Moby Dick's House of Kabob is just steps away. Guests can also bring outside food.
Eavesdrop also hosts events , trivia, and live music almost every night, making it an especially fun stop for a weekend visit.

Water's End Brewery
Closer to the Woodbridge side of Prince William, Virginia? Head toward Lake Ridge and you'll find another medal-winning Prince William brewery: Water's End Brewery.
Water's End brought home one silver medal and a gold including:
🥇 Gold – Damn Beer, Cream & Blond Ale
🥈 Silver – Irish Red, Irish Red
Water's End is a great option for visitors looking for a more laid-back taproom experience. The brewery has locations in Lake Ridge and at Potomac Mills, giving you two opportunities to add a local beer stop to your Prince William itinerary.
The Lake Ridge taproom features indoor and outdoor seating, a rotating selection of beers, flights, and to-go options. There's no full kitchen, so visitors can bring their own food or keep an eye out for special food vendors and events. Oh! And did we mention its their 10 year anniversary? That itself is worth a visit.
And if you're shopping at Potomac Mills, the brewery's second location makes an easy addition to a day of retail therapy.

The Farm Brewery at Broad Run

Located just outside Haymarket, the brewery earned three medals across two categories:

Trouvaille Brewing Company
Not too far away from The Farm Brewery at Broad Run, our fifth medal-winning brewery takes us to the heart of Haymarket. Trouvaille Brewing Company earned a bronze medal for Octave in the Monastic category.
The name Trouvaille (pronounced troo-VIGH) means “a lucky find,” and the brewery certainly lives up to its name. Founded by five homebrewers who decided to combine their passion for brewing, Trouvaille opened its doors in 2022 and has become a neighborhood gathering place in downtown Haymarket. The brewery focuses on small-batch beers and isn't afraid to experiment, offering everything from classic lagers and pale ales to hazy IPAs, fruited sours, and barrel-aged specialties.
Visitors can enjoy the taproom and outdoor seating, grab food to pair with their beer, or check the events calendar for live music and other community events (like a weekly poker night).
