Spring is almost here which means the season of sipping award-winning Virginia wine is upon us! Oh, you haven't heard the news? Well we are thrilled to share that several of our wineries right here in Prince William, Virginia have taken home medals at the prestigious 2026 Virginia Governor’s Cup! This annual event is one of the most cut-throat wine contests in the country, with judges tasting hundreds of entries from across the Commonwealth and we are honored to have some winners!
Like we mentioned, The Governor’s Cup is one of the most competitive and respected wine competitions in the country, celebrating wines made from 100 % Virginia-grown fruit and showcasing the depth and diversity of Virginia’s wine industry. This year’s competition drew 677 submissions from across the Commonwealth, and more than 200 gold medals were awarded to standout wines.
