Home to a rich history, the Town of Haymarket was once known as the “Crossroads” in the 1700s and is now a quaint Virginia town with eclectic shops, restaurants, and museums. This small American town is just a stone’s throw away from Virginia horse country.

Unincorporated Haymarket has a plethora of shopping, dining, and entertainment choices including well-maintained golf courses and rolling mountains.

• Giuseppe's Ristorante Italiana

• Hidden Jules Cafe

  • Hidden Jules Cafe is locally owned and operated. They are proud to feature local, organic breakfast and lunches! Hidden Jules Cafe sources produce, mean, dairy, and other ingredients exclusively from area growers. 

• Thai Peppers

  • Family owned and operated, they serve authentic dishes using the freshest ingredients and NO added MSG. Their dishes are cooked fresh and made-to-order, which means they can alter any dish to your liking. They can prepare your dish with No Spice or Thai Hot and anything in between. Thai Pepper’s also offers a wide array of options for our Gluten Free and Vegetarian customers. Their atmosphere can be suited for family gatherings and also intimate date nights.

• Zandra's Taqueria 

  • Voted Best Mexican Restaurant in Northern Virginia in 2017, 2018, and 2019 by Virginia Living Magazine, Zandra’s Taqueria is a contemporary-American restaurant offering handcrafted, gourmet tacos made with fresh, local ingredients. Owners, Miguel and Alexandra Pires, have always enjoyed tacos, but with a bit of a twist on their tacos; not your authentic or traditional taco.​Zandra's Taqueria offers a lively atmosphere that is complemented by popular menu items that include the Al Pastor, a taco stuffed with pork shoulder and topped with the sweet and savory combination of grilled pineapple, onion and cilantro. 

• Ghosted Concepts

  • A multi-restaurant concept in Haymarket, VA where the food is prepped, cooked, and delivered all from a single kitchen. Currently the restaurant offers curbside delivery, delivery, and catering. • Olde Dominion Tavern

  • This family-friendly restaurant is located right in the heart of Haymarket. They are open 7 days a week serving lunch, dinner and brunch on weekends! Restaurant, Bar, Private Dining, and Outdoor seating options available. Bring your four-legged friend with you to dine on our dog-friendly patio! • Cookies & Cream 
  • Cookies & Cream is housed in a 1927 kit-home in the quintessential American hometown of Haymarket, Virginia. We offer premium hard-serve ice cream from Gifford's and cookies that are baked in our shop. We also serve many soda drink options including original specialty drinks and Italian sodas, all made to order. Our outdoor seating with lights and the adjacent playground makes a trip to the ice cream shop all the more fun. Friendly service and yummy treats are waiting for you here.
• Cupcake Heaven & Café
  • With over 35 years of baking and decorating experience Kim Newman has always had a love for sweets.  After working in a bakery and out of her home for many years, she decided to bring her creations to Cupcake Heaven and Cafe in Haymarket, Virginia. The small hometown feel and quaint atmosphere brings the nostalgia of cupcakes home. With the best coffee bar in town and free wifi, there’s no greater place to meet.
• Swirlies 
  • Swirlie's serves soft serve ice cream and Hawaiian Shave Ice, Shakes, Razzle's, Floats, Sundae's, Banana Splits, Music and Outdoor seating! A place where Family and Friends Gather!

The Great Outdoors

Nestled at the foothills of the Bull Run Mountains, there are dozens of things to do in the great outdoors around Haymarket. We know you just spent all day outside on the golf course, but why not continue your day in nature?

• Silver Lake Regional Park

  • Silver Lake Regional Park features a 23-acre lake is fed by the Little Bull Run, is a fisherman’s delight with bluegill and largemouth bass. The lake is open for bank fishing and non-motorized boats. Additionally, the park has 4 miles of multipurpose trails which are used with equal enthusiasm by equestrians and hikers alike. There are two designated picnic areas with wooden tables, permanent grills and restroom facilities.

• Leopold's Preserve

  • ​Located in western Prince William County, VA, Leopold's Preserve has become a respite for local residents and weary travelers. Replete with 7 miles of interpretive trails, old hardwood forests, wildflower meadows, rock formations, and water features, there's much to see and do.

Looking to relax and unwind in a more...adult way? Haymarket is home to five stops on our Steins, Vines, and Moonshine trail. Whether you're into beer, wine, or something stronger, Haymarket has got you covered!

• Great Mane Brewery

  • Great Mane Brewery works to create and release excellent, well-balanced beer in a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Quality brewed IPAs, Pilsners, Ales, Lagers, and Flagships are available for visitors to try. Families are welcome to enjoy games!
• Trouvaille Brewing Company
  • Award winning brewers have combined to create an upscale and cozy space right in the heart of downtown Haymarket. With excellent local food options, prepackaged treats, and a variety of beers, Trouvaille Brewing has something for everyone. Outdoor seating is available on patios to enjoy the warmer months. 
• The Farm Brewery at Broad Run
  • The Farm Brewery at Broad Run is located in Haymarket and contains 6 acres of landscaped beer gardens and Brewbarn. The brewery serves a vast selection of Ales, Lagers, wines, and homemade ciders along with featured snacks and food trucks. The Farm Brewery is the perfect spot to catch up with family and friends while trying unique beers, playing games, and listening to live music
• The Winery at La Grange
  • The Winery at La Grange, Prince William County’s oldest established winery, is housed in an 18th century manor house surrounded by an expansive vineyard. The vineyard and winery feature year-round, seasonal events and host wine tastings in both the barrel room and manor house.
• Aroma II Tasting Room
  • Aroma Wine Tasting offers tastings, flights, bottles, glasses, and slushies at their beautiful tasting bar in Haymarket. The tasting room is operated by Morais Vineyards & Winery, and they serve all the same wines available at the winery as well as limited release wines. Seats are first come first serve and they have private rooms available to rent for large groups and events. Assorted cheeses, charcuterie, and crackers are available for purchase to pair with their different varieties of wines.
