Burnside Farms, located in Nokesville, VA plants more than 2.5 million tulips on fifteen acres for one of the most spectacular pick-your-own events in North America! The Festival of Spring typically begins mid-April and lasts about 21-30 days (depending on the weather).

🌷Wear bug spray and comfortable walking shoes. Leashed well-behaved dogs are welcome.

🌷Burnside provides baskets and shears for collecting your favorite flowers. They recommend bringing a small bucket with water to keep your flowers hydrated on the ride home. You can keep the bucket in the car.

🌷Bring the kids - not only for the Instagram-worthy photos but also for the fun kids' activities around the farm. (two bounce features, playhouse area, cornhole games, short film cinema in the barn, corn sandbox, pedal cart track, more than 100 pairs of authentic Dutch wooden shoes to "klomp" around in). 

🌷Pack your lunch and enjoy a picnic in the shaded picnic area. They usually have vendors and live music on the weekends.
