Good news for food lovers: Taste of NoVA, Northern Virginia Magazine’s signature two-day food and drink festival, is coming to NOVA LIVE in Manassas this weekend, October 11–12. The festival will bring tastings from more than 120 of Northern Virginia’s top chefs, winemakers, brewers, distillers and mixologists to the county’s 21-acre campus for a weekend of bites, sips, and local flavor.

Originally slated to take place at the National Museum of the U.S. Army in Fort Belvoir, the event pivoted after the museum closed amid the federal government shutdown, and the hard working folks in Prince William County stepped up to help make the move happen on short notice. The result? A bigger, more vibrant festival footprint right here in PWC!

Expect tastings, chef demos, and special moments across the weekend—including a presentation of Northern Virginia Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award to Chef Patrick O’Connell, who will also take the stage for a conversation with NBC4’s Eun Yang. The festival is also partnered with Northern Virginia Food Rescue, supporting efforts to fight food insecurity and reduce waste.

The festival will be staged adjacent to the full NOVA LIVE campus, so attendees can easily explore on-site favorites like 2 Silos Brewing Co., The Black Sheep, and live music at the YARD stage, plus the recently expanded MurLarkey Distilled Spirits and Proof Kitchen & Bar. NOVA LIVE’s growing campus (and the upcoming Tempo by Hilton hotel on site) make it a great place to eat, sip, and stick around for more.

Planning to go? Tickets and festival info are available at TasteOfNoVA.com, and federal government workers can use promo code GOV20 for 20% off general admission with a valid ID. See you there—bring your appetite!
