On October 23, the $460 million Rose Gaming Resort welcomed the public with a soft opening, debuting its gaming floor complete with 1,650 historical horse racing terminals. These machines, similar in appearance and play to traditional slot machines, let players win based on the outcomes of past horse races using pari-mutuel wagering.
